Lately it seems that yoga poses are popping up everywhere. Fitness instructors are slipping yoga into their core and strength classes and massage and physio-therapists are sending clients home with yoga poses to help stretch and rehabilitate muscles. URG is holding a "pigeon pose" which stretches the hip and glute muscles to name a few.
There is still alot of controversy concerning the benefits of yoga and just how stretched and limber a runner should be. Personally I use yoga poses for core strength and to keep my left and right side balanced flexibility wise. Back to UltraRunningGuy.com HOME PAGE
