Derrick, I am glad you and Sara are/had fun in Banff in the snow. I suppose I could have put URG in microspikes but the snowshoes made for a much better visual.
David, Yes, URG is all decked out in his winter duds. BTW that is all he is getting...well perhaps a pair of mitts also.

We actually could have run in snowshoes when we were up at 7,300ft yesterday, but microspikes worked better.
Snowed a bit in Banff again today and lots of snow on the peaks.

I have my Winter tires on, maybe it'll attract the snow...
and I went shopping for winter boots for my daughter yesterday.
Snowshoes on the runners, snowtires on the cars and snowboots on the kids. Now that we are all set for the snow it should arrive...mid January:)
We were dumped on last night. It is officially winter in Alaska!!
